Are You Aware Of The +Ve Effects High Heels Have On Your @$$? See The Benefits of Wearing Heels...

1. High Heels Add Height

It may seem obvious that a pair of heels will add height on to the wearer, but it is the number one reason why women around the world wear high heels. Women may want to add height in a number of different situations. They may want to match their height to a taller date. Petite women especially use high heels to overcome their natural stature. If a petite woman want to feel taller and more confident, all she has to do is throw on a pair of heels and she’ll be instantly more statuesque. Since heels vary in height even a woman who is already tall can benefit from heels, even if they are a bit shorter.

2. High Heels Draw Attention

A woman wearing heels definitely draws attention. Men love a woman in heels, and a great pair of heels can also draw compliments from other women. Stylish heels like high stilettos tend to draw the most attention, so stilettos may be the perfect choice if a woman is looking to turn heads. Heels with stunning accents will also draw more attention than plain heels, and exotic heels are an excellent way for a woman to add a focal point to an outfit.

3. High Heels Enhance Confidence

Wearing high heels can make a woman feel more confident. This is due to a number of reasons. For one, high heels enhance almost any outfit. Additionally, high heels can make a woman look more assertive, which in turn makes her feel more confident. As mentioned above, heels draw favorable attention to a woman, her outfit, and personal style. This makes her feel even better about how she looks.

4. High Heels Accentuate Legs

One of the benefits of high heels is that they make a woman’s legs look amazing. Wearing high heels changes one’s posture and can make a woman’s legs look longer and leaner. Not only do wearing high heels give the look of long and sexy legs, but they can also tone a woman’s leg muscles. Additionally, they improve the entire look of a woman’s body by improving how she carries herself when she stands and walks.

5. High Heels Make One Look Thinner

A notable reason why women like high heels is that they make the wearer appear thinner. This is true with almost any type of outfit, including skinny pants. High heels make one look thinner in part because they force a woman to stand taller. In addition to making one appear thinner, they also tone one’s leg muscles.

5 Ways to Naturally Prevent and Get Rid of Fleas on Dogs...

1. Flea Comb  this is very similar to the flea comb for dogs, and while some cats may find the scent of citrus unappealing, the way this is prepared can lessen the intensity of the smell to their sensitive noses (but not to the fleas) because you don’t use straight lemon juice. Fleas hate the overwhelming smell of lemon, and it seems to help deter them. Combining the lemon with a flea comb-it can be either a regular comb, although the super fine toothed ones sold in stores are optimum-does twice as good a job. You get the pests out with the comb, while leaving a lingering scent of lemon that will keep them from coming back fleaspraydiatamaceousearthflearemedy

2. Apple Cider Vinegar Bath or Spray

Would you want to chomp onto something that smelled overwhelmingly foul to you? Probably not. The same thing is true of fleas and vinegar-even apple cider vinegar, which I actually like the smell of. Applying this during a bath or as a spray does not change a cats internal Ph. levels, and is a good way to naturally remove fleas, especially on kittens.

3. Dry D.E. Shampoo

Diatomaceous earth (DE) is a naturally occurring rock that is made up of the fossilized remains of ancient hard shelled algae (called diatoms, hence the name.) Easily crumbled into a fine powder, DE is an effective and safe means of repelling fleas. While harmless to humans or pets, it is lethal to fleas because of its tiny but incredibly sharp edges that can slice right through the pest’s tough, waxy, exoskeleton. The fleas then die of dehydration. It is important that you only use food grade diatomaceous earth-any other kind is not approved for use on animals or humans, not to mention it will be too finely ground to kill the fleas. Food grade can be safely used externally and internally in both humans and animals, which means that when your cat goes to lick itself off, DE won’t hurt it.

The biggest thing you want to avoid is breathing it in-you don’t want those little particles in your throat. This can be avoided by wearing a mask when using it in large quantities (if you are dusting the cats bedding down, for example) and by not going overboard when putting it on your pet

4. Biological warfare

Beneficial nematodes are insect-parasitic, which means that these small microscopic “worms” are safe for pets, people, and plants, but not pests. There are many different kinds of nematodes, but the ones marketed for flea control and pest control in gardens are not one of the nasty ones. These little guys have a unique mission, seek out pests (they love flea larvae) and destroy them. It’s a little gross how they go about it-basically they kill the flea from the inside out and then feed on it-but fleas are nasty anyways right? What goes around comes around I suppose. Nematodes have been shown to be very helpful in reducing flea populations under the right conditions. They need moist soil to thrive and to be able to move easily, but they did not have the same level of effectiveness in dry super dry conditions. If you live in an area where nematodes might be useful, you can place them around the perimeter of the house where they act like a tiny army to defend your home (and your cat) from fleas. Use them in accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions

5. Soapy water flea trap

Fleas, well, they aren’t the brightest things in the world, which is good news for us. They are attracted to light, and find its shining splendor irresistible. To take advantage of this, place a very shallow dish with sudsy water under a night light so when they hop towards the light, they hop into the water and drown. Use hot or warm water, as they seek things out by temperature.diatamaceousearthflearemedy fleaspray catfleacomb

How to Control Anger...Must Read...Especially Men

  1. Take a break as soon as you recognize that you're angry. You can take a break by stopping what you're doing, getting away from whatever is irritating you, and/or just taking a breather. Getting away from whatever is upsetting you will make it infinitely easier to calm down. Try it out in these situations:

    • If you're experiencing road rage, pull over on a side road and turn off the car.

    • If you're angry at work, go to a room or step outside for a moment. If you're driving to work, consider sitting in your car so that you're in a space you own.

    • If you're upset at home, go to a single-occupancy space (such as the bathroom) or for a walk or go for a walk with your dog.

    • If you're experiencing anger in an unfamiliar place, don't just wander off by yourself. Tell whoever you're with that you need a short mental vacation, and ask that he or she stand a few extra paces away from you.

    • Close your eyes and try to imagine yourself somewhere peaceful.

  2. Breathe deeply. If your heart hammers with rage, slow it down by controlling your breathing. Count to three as you inhale, hold the breath in your lungs for three more seconds, and count to three again as you exhale. Focus only on the numbers as you do this, and refuse to think about whatever is angering you. Repeat as many times as necessary.

  3. Go to a "happy place". If you're still having a difficult time calming down, imagine yourself in a scene you find incredibly relaxing. It could be your childhood backyard, a quiet forest, a solitary island - whatever locale makes you feel at home and peaceful. Focus on imagining every detail of this place: the light, the noises, the temperature, the weather, the smells. Keep dwelling on your happy place until you feel completely immersed in it, and hang out there for a few minutes or until you feel calm.

  4. If that still doesn't work, it is recommended that you remember the best times you have spent and remember every happy situation possible, if you can. It can be with your mother, friends, or your partner. Try to bring a smile to your face by remembering such incidents.

  5. 5

Practice positive self-talk. When you're ready, "discuss" the situation with yourself in positive and relieving terms. For example, if you experience road rage, you could try: "That guy almost sideswiped me, but maybe, he was experiencing an emergency and I'll probably never have to see him again. I feel lucky that I'm alive and my car is unscratched. I'm fortunate that I can still drive. I can continue to be calm and focused when I get back on the road."

    • If you find a form of positive self-talk that really works for you, make it a mantra. Repeat it to yourself as many times as you need to in order to return to the right frame of mind.

  6. Ask for the support of someone you trust. If you're still upset, sharing your concerns with a close friend or confidant might help.

    • Clearly express what you want from the other person. If you just want a sounding board, state at the beginning that you don't want help or advice, just sympathy. If you're looking for a solution, let the other person know.

    • Set a time limit. Give yourself a set amount of time to vent about what's upsetting you, and stick to it - when time is up, your rant is over. This will help you move on instead of dwelling on the situation endlessly.

  7. Try to see some humor in what angered you. After you've calmed down and established that you're ready to get over the incident, try to see the lighter side. By Casting the incident in a humorous light, it can help you maintain positivity and avoid getting angry over the same thing next time.

Amazing Facts You DID NOT Know About Your Eyes! Must READ...

The iris is a muscle that expands and contracts to control pupil size. The pupil enlarges in dimmer lighting and grows smaller in brighter lighting. The pupil also shrinks when you focus on near objects, such as a book you are reading.

When the pupil size changes, the pigments in the iris compress or spread apart, changing the eye color a bit.

Certain emotions can change both the pupil size and the iris color. That's why some people say their eyes change colors when they're angry or loving.

Eye color also can change with age. This happens in 10 to 15 percent of the Caucasian population (people who generally have lighter eye colors).

eye

For instance, my once very brown eyes are now hazel, a combination of brown and green. However, some hazel eyes actually get darker with age.

Note that if your adult eye color changes pretty dramatically, or if one eye changes from brown to green or blue to brown (called heterochromia), it's important to see your eye doctor. Eye color changes can be a warning sign of certain diseases, such as Fuch's heterochromic iridocyclitis, Horner's syndrome or pigmentary glaucoma.

Ultimately, if you don't like the eye color you inherited, you can always change it with colored contact lenses. But remember, even colored contact lenses are a prescription medical device and must be prescribed and monitored by an eye doctor. Don't buy them over the Internet or get them from a friend without having an eye doctor's prescription

Things You Should TOTALLY Avoid When Pregnant! Women's Guide...

Get an energy boost without a bunch of caffeine
Try:
Six small meals a day. Some experts swear by “the six-meal solution.” The idea is that, instead of three big meals, you eat a bunch of little, healthy ones throughout the day to keep your blood sugar from spiking and dipping -- which could prevent your energy levels from plummeting.
The bright side: “You’re pregnant -- you’re supposed to be tired,” says Riley. In other words, it’s also okay to give yourself permission to take a nap and to take things easier than you used to. Don’t feel guilty about it, and make it a rule to always get a full night’s sleep.

Calm down without smoking
Try:
Yoga breathing. Smoking-cessation programs teach that deep breathing, stretching and relaxation techniques can help quitters cope with the urge to smoke. Yoga’s a great combination of all three. It’s also a great way to deal with stress! Enroll in a prenatal yoga class to learn some moves.
The bright side: If you’ve tried to quit smoking in the past with no luck, this time you have a better reason than ever to stop -- your baby’s health. And think about it this way: Once you’ve given it up for nine months, it will be so much easier to stay smoke-free. Forever.

Grab lunch without deli meat
Try:
Roasting your own turkey. Yeah, we know, it’s a big bummer that you can’t eat a simple sandwich from your favorite deli, but listeria poisoning -- which is caused by bacteria that could potentially live on deli meat -- could really harm your baby. In the worst cases, it could lead to miscarriage, premature delivery or stillbirth. “I’ve seen those cases of listeria and it is such a sad outcome, and people feel so incredibly guilty,” says Riley. But making your own food and knowing that you cleaned it and the utensils properly will give you peace of mind that your food is A-OK to eat. Heating your meat to the point where it steams can kill the listeria bacteria too.
The bright side: You’ll save money by eating out less.

Ease a headache without ibuprofen
Try:
Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol) is completely okay to take, as long as you follow the recommended dosage on the bottle, says Riley.
The bright side: It’s not like you can’t take anything.

Look hot without sky-high heels
Try:
Wedges, kitten heels, lower heels (under three inches) that are thick. Your center of gravity is off now that you're pregnant, and you just don't want to risk wobbles and falls.
The bright side: These are all super-stylish options!

Enjoy girls' night without a cocktail
Try:
A mocktail, of course! Here are a few Bumpies' favorite nonalcoholic drinks. Basically, anything sweet and bubbly (just add seltzer) with a lime perched on the end will still feel festive, despite the lack of booze.
The bright side: You may not be able to drink, but at least you can order some tasty bar food to nibble while you're out with your friends.

Food That Drastically Lowers Blood Pressure! Try It Today....

Potassium-Rich Bananas

These portable, easy-peel fruits aren’t just a sweet and low in sodium; they’re also rich in potassium, which can help to lower blood pressure, says Stephanie Dean, RD, a registered dietitian with Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. “With certain blood pressure medications, you can have an increased need for potassium,” Dean says. “Some people could also be lacking it naturally in their diets. A lack of potassium does impact the muscles and heart rate.” To incorporate more bananas into your diet for high blood pressure, add slices to cereal or your favorite fruit salad mix. Or try grilling or sauteing banana halves, then top with a scoop of frozen yogurt.

Yogurt for Calcium

Yogurt is a good source of calcium — one 6-ounce serving provides 300 milligrams, which is almost one-third of an adult’s recommended daily intake. Calcium deficiency can be a contributor to high blood pressure. “A lot of people associate calcium with something that children need and stop consuming calcium as an adult, but the adult body still needs it,” Dean says. Yogurt is a low-sodium food that’s great straight out of the container, but you can also use it as a creamy addition to a smoothie — just mix a cup with diced portions of your favorite fruit in the blender.
